You’ll be a great paintballer when
you get back to the point when you can go on the field with no pods or not
wearing any pack, but for the intermediate stages or for those long format
games, you’ll need to bring spare ammo onto the field. Paintball harness and pack
technology has grown huge.
The most comfortable paintball harness is based on a stretchy belt like a
lifters belt. This allows you to bend down, crawl around, and move as fast as
you can, and the pack moves with you. The new vest style packs put all the
weight on your shoulders instead of your hips, and the big guys like this. It
also makes you look like you’re a soldier which some guys really dig.
