Cons:
Chops Paint, Heavy
Best Uses:
Capture The Flag, Outdoor, woodsball
Describe Yourself:
Recreational Player
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I have owned this marker for the past 2 and a half years and I am very happy with it. It is easy to set up and even easier to maintain. It carries on the amazing durability of the 98 Custom and the reliability of Tippmann pneumatics. If you want a marker that will be durable and affordable this is your pick. It is better than the 98 Custom and is only second to the X7 in outside looks and after market parts.

Best Uses:
Attack and Defend, Capture The Flag, Outdoor, Sniping
Describe Yourself:
Recreational Player
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I own this marker and a few upgrades. The response trigger means when you find the "sweet spot" it shoots a ball when you squeeze and when you release. so if your finger is fast enough, you can shoot up to 17 balls a second. This marker also doesn't chop paint AT ALL. The hopper is gravity fed but the Cyclone Feed doesn't work of of gravity or electricity, but CO2 powered. This means the feed system feeds to your trigger pull.

This is a great marker, it is probably at its best playing woodsball. Its also good for indoor, if you can pull that trigger fast enough you can most definitely be victories if you know how to use it and it should be allowed in all tournaments unless the owner is stubborn. Well if you get this gun have fun and be safe.

It sucks air like my SUV does gas but I love it. I use a 68ci tank on remote and can easily get in 3 rounds before I'm ready to sit down and have a cold drink. I love having the ability to bunker people using that sweet spot on the trigger and be legal on any field.

My first experience with paintball was several months ago - we rented some Tippmann 98 Customs - that was all it took to get hooked. I chose the A-5 because it is a great starter marker with plenty of upgrade-ability. Soon after I bought mine with the response trigger, I purchased the flatline barrell (which is awesome) and a Tapco adjustable stock (a real must). Overall this is a great marker to start off with, very easy to setup and use. Talk about laying down some paint.
